Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to address defense personnel in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he consulted fighters at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya area, a town approximately 20km from the focal point.

Critical Conditions in the Region

Geospatial data from a local initiative showed that Russian forces had pushed further into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though a large portion was not fully held by both forces. The status is precarious, with updates indicating that opposition troops were digging in and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Opposition armies are making progress in the Pokrovsk direction and are reportedly acting with growing ease within the city proper.

Military experts noted that national troops had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk campaign.

Kyiv's Drone Strikes Within Russian Territory

Ukrainian long-range drones struck a factory approximately 1,300km inside the federation at the location. Local officials reported an explosion at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to suffer damage, adding that the cause of the explosion was unconfirmed.
